Works from Melbourne-based Hibberd's Blinded by the Light were part of the Centre for Contemporary Photography's Art+Film exhibition (reviewed page 26). The complete Blinded by the Light works were shown at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, Sept 11-Oct 19. Hibberd was National Winner, UBS Art Award (2000), received The National Gallery Women's Post-Graduate Award (1999), has a Master of Fine Art degree 9VCA, 2001) and an Australia Councial Arts Development Grant (2003).
